Delivery & Returns

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This Delivery & Returns Policy applies to products supplied by RESQ Equipment Pty Ltd (ABN 28 669 537 473) trading as RSQ Australia.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions of Sale. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Delivery

RSQ Australia supplies products to customers throughout Australia, subject to product availability and suitable freight arrangements.

Available delivery options and charges may be shown during checkout, included in a quotation, or confirmed with you before your order is accepted.

Delivery charges are additional to the product price unless expressly stated otherwise.

For products that cannot be economically or reliably freighted using a standard checkout delivery service, we may provide a freight quotation separately.

2. Delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes depend on factors including:

  • whether the product is currently in stock;

  • the delivery location;

  • the size and weight of the order;

  • the freight provider;

  • supplier availability;

  • whether the product is purchased on order or made to order; and

  • whether special freight or handling arrangements are required.

Any delivery or dispatch timeframe displayed on our website or provided by us is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

If a significant delay occurs after your order has been accepted, we will contact you where reasonably practicable.

3. Products not currently in stock

Some products sold by RSQ Australia may remain available to order when our current stock quantity is zero.

These may include:

  • products normally held in stock but awaiting replenishment;

  • products purchased from a supplier after an order is received;

  • made-to-order products; and

  • customised or specially prepared products.

Where available, estimated lead-time information may be shown on the product page or provided with your quotation or order confirmation.

If we cannot supply an ordered product within a reasonable period, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

4. Delivery addresses

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and any information reasonably necessary to complete delivery.

Please tell us before dispatch if the delivery location has unusual access requirements or restrictions.

Additional charges may apply where a delivery cannot reasonably be completed because:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address was provided;

  • nobody is available where attendance is required;

  • the location cannot reasonably be accessed by the selected freight service;

  • special handling or site requirements were not disclosed; or

  • redelivery is required for reasons outside our reasonable control.

5. Business, mine and work sites

Deliveries to mine sites, industrial facilities, depots and other controlled-access locations may require additional information or arrangements.

You are responsible for informing us of relevant delivery requirements, which may include:

  • site operating or receiving hours;

  • delivery booking requirements;

  • access or security procedures;

  • delivery contacts;

  • vehicle or freight restrictions; and

  • other site-specific requirements.

Additional freight or handling charges may apply where special arrangements are required.

6. Authority to leave

Where a freight provider offers authority-to-leave delivery and you select or authorise that option, the goods may be left at the nominated location without obtaining a signature.

You should consider whether the location is secure before providing authority to leave.

Nothing in this section affects rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Collection

Where collection is available, orders may be collected from:

RSQ Australia 7/10 Masonry Way Malaga WA 6090

Please wait until we have confirmed that your order is ready before attending to collect it.

We may require your order details and reasonable identification or evidence that you are authorised to collect the goods.

8. Checking your delivery

Please inspect your order within a reasonable time after receiving it.

If an item appears to be:

  • damaged in transit;

  • incorrect;

  • missing from the delivery; or

  • different from what was ordered,

please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.

Where appropriate, please retain the product and packaging and provide photographs showing the issue. This can help us investigate the matter with the freight provider or supplier.

Failure to notify us immediately does not remove any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

9. Change-of-mind returns

RSQ Australia is not required to provide a refund or exchange merely because you change your mind.

However, we may agree to accept a change-of-mind return in appropriate circumstances.

Please contact us before returning an item.

Where we agree to a change-of-mind return, we may require the product to be:

  • unused;

  • undamaged;

  • complete;

  • in saleable condition; and

  • in its original packaging where reasonably applicable.

Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to reasonable return freight, handling or restocking costs advised to you.

Do not return goods to us without first contacting RSQ Australia and obtaining return instructions.

10. Special-order and customised products

Products that have been specially ordered, manufactured, configured, printed, labelled, cut or otherwise prepared specifically for you generally cannot be returned or cancelled simply because you change your mind once we have committed costs or production has commenced.

This may include custom signage, decals, identification products and specially sourced equipment.

This does not affect any rights you may have where goods fail to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.

11. Faulty or defective products

Goods sold by RSQ Australia come with consumer guarantees where the Australian Consumer Law applies.

If you believe a product is faulty, defective, unsafe, not as described or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

Manufacturer warranties are additional to rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Returning a faulty or incorrect product

Before returning a product, please contact us and provide, where available:

  • your name or business name;

  • order, invoice or quotation number;

  • product details;

  • a description of the problem; and

  • photographs or other relevant information.

We will provide appropriate instructions for assessment or return.

Where goods are confirmed to have a problem for which RSQ Australia is responsible and you are entitled to a remedy, we will deal with reasonable return or collection costs as required by applicable law.

13. Proof of purchase

We may ask for reasonable proof that the product was purchased from RSQ Australia.

This may include an:

  • order confirmation;

  • tax invoice;

  • receipt;

  • quotation or purchase order reference;

  • payment record; or

  • other record that reasonably demonstrates the purchase.

14. Refunds

Where a refund is required by law or otherwise agreed by RSQ Australia, it will be processed using an appropriate payment method.

Where practicable, refunds for purchases paid through Stripe will be returned to the original payment method.

After we process a refund, the time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider and your financial institution.

15. Exchanges and replacements

Where an exchange or replacement is agreed or required, availability will depend on current stock and supplier availability.

If an identical replacement is unavailable, we will discuss the available remedy or alternatives with you.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

16. Return packaging

Where reasonably possible, products being returned should be packaged appropriately to prevent additional damage during transport.

Original packaging is helpful, particularly for freight and warranty assessment, but requiring original packaging will not be used to deny a remedy where you are otherwise legally entitled to one.
